About Kwik Lok

Family Owned, Women Led, and People Focused

People are the heart of our company. Every day we make sure they know they matter, and that their contributions are helping change the future for all of us.

OUR HISTORY

Humble Beginnings
and Innovation

In the 1950’s, apple distributors asked engineer Floyd Paxton to invent a better way to close bags. Soon after, he did. Kwik Lok was born and rapidly became the preferred method for keeping Washington State apples fresh. Over 70 years later, we continue to lead the packaging industry, closing over a trillion bags globally.

LOOKING FORWARD

A New Generation Leading the Way

In 2015, Stephanie Paxton-Jackson, Kimberly Paxton-Hagner, and Melissa Steiner, the next generation of the Paxton family, took over. We maintain a family-forward commitment to push beyond boundaries, building a more responsible and resilient future.
