The closure was designed to close bags and thereby placing few mechanical demands on our closing equipment. With few moving parts and simple mechanical motions there are few problems encountered during operation.

872 XLS: The unit will CLOSE and PRINT your bagged packages at speeds up to 110 bags/minute. To print the machine requires an optional printing unit. Designed for horizontal packages such as bread, rolls, buns, snack foods, bulk meat products, etc.

872 XLS LM: The unit will CLOSE, PRINT and LABEL bagged packages at speeds up to 110 bags/minute. To print the machine requires an optional printing unit. Designed for horizontal packages such as bread, rolls, buns, snack food, etc.

865: The versatile 865 will close vertical or horizontal packages. The machine will CLOSE, PRICE AND LABEL bagged packages at speeds up to 80 packages per minute (horizontal).

Typical vertical packages: potatoes, onions, apples, citrus, carrots, etc.

Typical horizontal packages: bread, rolls, buns, snack foods, etc.

1002D: Will CLOSE and PRINT packages at speeds up to 30 bags/minute. The machine uses a Trodat® Printer that uses grooved, press-on rubber type. Totally mechanical, does not use electricity.

1002EP: Will CLOSE and PRINT packages at speeds up to 30 bags/minute. The machine features band type wheel printer. Totally mechanical, does not require electricity.

1002D Model B: Designed for field packaging of lettuce, cauliflower, etc.

1003: Will CLOSE and PRINT packages at speeds up to 30 bags/minute. The machine uses the smaller Series RJ Closures. The machine uses a Trodat® Printer that uses grooved, press-on rubber type. Totally mechanical, does not use electricity.

086: Will CLOSE and LABEL bagged packages at speeds up to 30 bags/minute. This machine allows packagers to label their packages with custom printed labels. An optional unit is available with a printer.

087: Electrically powered, the machine uses the same closures as our automatic machines. This benefits packagers that have both automatic and semiautomatic packaging stations, limiting closure inventories.

088: Electrically powered, the machine uses the same closures as our automatic machines, including labels. The machine will close packages at speeds up to 50 bags/minute, making it the fastest semiautomatic in our line.

894 Squid Ink Turbo-Print: State of the art computerized printer. Can be mounted on our 872 XSL, 872 XSL LM, 893 Ultra and 873 Stainless Automatic Bag Closing Machines.

896 SolarMark: A Laser Printer for use on the new 893 Ultra Automatic Bag Closing Machine.

1011 Printer: Can be mounted on Kwik Lok 872 XSL, 872 XSL LM and 873 Stainless Steel automatic bag closing machines. The printer features steel type and dry cold-transfer printing tape.

874 Printer: For use on 865 Automatic Bag Closing Machines. The printer is a cold stamp printer.

880 Printer: An air operated printer for use on the 872 Automatic Bag Closing Machine.

Markem Smart Date 3i Printer: A thermal printer that uses computer generated type.

884 Thermal Printer: A stand alone printer and will print package variables such as bar codes, varietal names, weight, etc. The printer prints on closure-labels that can then be used for hand application or on the 865 Automatic Bag Closing Machine.

Bag Tensioners: Kwik Lok Bag Tensioners prepare the filled package for closing, drawing the bag tight.

Conveyors: General packaging conveyors.
