Kwik Lok and Markem Corporation have teamed together to bring the Smart Date Thermal Printer to the flexible packaging industry.
The Smart Date Printer is computerized permitting the packager to program various print layouts into the system to be recalled and printed on the Kwik Lok Bag Closure, giving the packager virtually unlimited layout possiblities. The result is sharp, distinct copy on every closure. The printer is available with a stand-alone composer that can be placed at the bagging station. The Smart Date can be mounted on 872 Encore, 872 Labelmaster, 865 and 873 Automatic Bag Closing Machines. |

The 891A Composer permits the operator to call up an image of the Kwik Lok Closure and create text copy to be printed on the closure. Text can be sized, rotated, and moved around the screen. Date field has a drop down menu containing a list of date formats. Files can be saved, modified or deleted.
