884 THERMAL PRINTER WILL PRINT LABELS IN YOUR PLANT
PRINT YOUR OWN BAR CODED LABELS!
The 884 Thermal Printer enables the packager to print bar coded labels and other package variables such as variety, size, grade, weight on closure-labels that can then be used to close bagged packages.

The 884 prints on one side of the label, the other side can be custom printed at a Kwik Lok factory with the packager's graphics, logo, brand, etc. The 884 Printer will print at speeds up to 384 labels per minute.

The printer incorporates LabelView® software by Graftek. LabelView is a user friendly label creating program compatible with Windows 95/98, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000, NT 4.0/5.0, etc.

LabelView will permit you to design and build a label easily and quickly. Insert text, bar codes and imported graphics from most graphic formats.

LabelView supports virtually all bar code formats such as UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC +2 and +5, Code 39, EAN, Interleaf 2 of 5, Postnet and many others.

Labels can be pre-printed with attractive graphics, the 884 will then add package variables including bar codes, varieties, grades, sizes, weights or any other information your package may require. The 884 Thermal Printer gives the packager the ability to print information on demand. The system reduces inventory requirements and long lead times often associated with pre-printed bags and labels.
LabelView system requirements: Processor IBM compatible 486 (66 MHz) or better; RAM 32 MB minimum; Free Hard Drive Space 40 MB minimum; Operating System Windows 95/98, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000, NT 4.0/5.0; Monitor Windows compatible; Graphics Card Windows compatible. The host computer also needs a number of free ports to be able to communicate with the 884 Printer. There are: Parallel Port Required; Serial Port Required; Mouse Port, or Pointing Device Required.

REWIND UNITS
After printing labels through the 884, if finished labels are to be run through a Kwik Lok Bag Closing Machine, the labels need to be rewound. Kwik Lok provides two rewind units.

The 889 is an automatic rewind unit that takes the labels from the 884 Printer, rewinds them onto a reel that can be mounted on the Kwik Lok Bag Closing Machine.

A manual unit is also available.

889 AUTOMATIC REWIND UNIT
MANUAL REWIND UNIT (PART# Z8084011)
888 SEPARATOR UNIT
For packagers requiring labels to be hand applied to the package, our 888 Separator will take the labels from the 884 Printer, separate them from the roll and place indivdual labels in a carton.
