The 1002EP features a printer for printing price, date and/or code information on either the Series "RL" or Series "SL" Striplok® Closures. The closures are manufactured with a small paper label affixed to the closure. The 1002DP can also close packages with the Series "R" or "S" closures; however, these closures cannot be printed.

The 1002EP is so simple to operate, that even inexperienced operators can close up to 30 bags per minute. The Kwik Lok® is applied by inserting the bag into the machine. Removing the bag automatically positions the next closure for another package.
The 1002EP can be portable, or permanently mounted. Suction cup feet allow the portable unit to be used on any flat, clean surface. Bolt holes are pre-drilled for permanent mounting (bolts are not included). A kit is also available for mounting the machine on an Oliver Slicer.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Bakery products, candy, snack foods, puffed wheat, potato salad, meat patties, auto and bicycle parts, filters, flower bulbs, popsicles.

Two Printer Types are available:
Kwik Lok: Supplies sold by Kwik Lok Corporation.

Contact: Supplies sold by Contact and are generally available outside North America.

Note: The basic 1002DP machine is manufactured with different specifications to accept either a Kwik Lok printer or a Contact printer. Orders must specify the type of printer to be used.

Blocks utilize 'grooved press-on' rubber type, allowing the packager to customize their print copy using individual rubber type characters.
