PRINT FRIENDLY

The label can be printed in any number of colors on either side of the label. Two standard label materials are available; C1S Tagboard (coated one side) and a synthetic material. C2S Tagboard (coated two sides) is available from the Yakima plant or on special order from other plants.

The attached closure can be medium duty (0.030”/.76 mm thick) or heavy duty (0.045”/1.8 mm thick). Seven plastic colors are available, along with openings for film or net bags.

RIGHT AND LEFT HAND CONFIGURATION: Labels that are to be run through an automatic bag closing machine are available as Right Hand and/or Left Hand. This MUST correspond to the machine(s) to be used to apply the closure-labels to the bagged package. A RIGHT HAND machine can use only RIGHT HAND labels, and a LEFT HAND machine can use only LEFT HAND labels. If in doubt please send the machine serial number(s) to the factory when ordering automatically applied labels.

PACKAGING INFORMATION

Series L (machine applied, semiautomatic): Packaged on rolls containing 1,000 labels (medium duty and heavy duty). Cartons contain 29 rolls glued to medium duty plastic (28M) and 27 rolls glued to heavy duty plastic (27M).

Series P (hand applied): These labels can be used in a hand applied operation. The closures can be supplied on rolls or loose in cartons.
Packed on rolls: Cartons contain 2,000 labels per roll with 8 rolls per carton (medium duty).
Packed loose: Labels are available in three carton configurations: (1) 21M per carton, (2) 16M per carton with labels packed in plastic bags, 1,000 per bag, (3) 7M per carton.

Series P (machine applied, automatic): Packaged on rolls containing 2,000 labels (medium duty ) or 1,500 (heavy duty). Cartons contain 8 rolls; 16M medium duty, or 12M heavy duty.

Series PF (machine applied, automatic or semiautomatic): Packaged on rolls containing 2,000 labels (medium duty ) or 1,500 (heavy duty). Cartons contain 8 rolls; 16M medium duty, or 12M heavy duty.

Series PFM (machine applied, automatic or semiautomatic): Packaged on rolls containing 2,000 labels (medium duty) or 1,500 labels (heavy duty). Cartons contain 7 rolls; 14M medium duty, or 10.5M heavy duty.

PRINTING INFORMATION

Labels are custom printed on offset lithographic printing presses.

Artwork must be digital, the following applications are supported: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photshop, and Adobe In Design. Freehand and Quark X Press files can be supported in some instances (call factory). Vector files should be sent with all fonts outlined. Linked raster images should be EPS or TIFF files 300 dpi.

Labels can be printed with 4-color process or spot colors. Our printers use PMS Colors (Pantone Matching System).
