LABEL SIZE: 1-15"/16" X 2-1/4"
The label size is 1.9375” x 2.25” (50 mm x 57 mm) and can be applied by hand or semiautomatic and automatic bag closing machines. The label can be printed in any number of colors on either side of the label. Two standard label materials are available; C1S Tagboard (coated one side) and a synthetic material. C2S Tagboard (coated two sides) is available from the Yakima plant or on special order from other plants.

RIGHT AND LEFT HAND CONFIGURATION: Labels that are to be run through an automatic bag closing machine are available as Right Hand and/or Left Hand. This MUST correspond to the machine(s) to be used to apply the closure-labels to the bagged package. A RIGHT HAND machine can use only RIGHT HAND labels, and a LEFT HAND machine can use only LEFT HAND labels. If in doubt, please send the serial number(s) to the factory when ordering automatically applied labels.

PACKAGING INFORMATION

Series C (hand applied) closure-labels are packaged on metal straps, 500 per strap. Two carton sizes are available: Labels glued to a medium duty closure are packaged in 1M Packs containing (2 straps) and 10M Packs (20 straps) - Heavy duty packs are 700 per carton (2 straps of 350) and 7M per carton (20 straps of 350). Series C glued to a net bag closure are packaged loose in plastic bags of 3,500 (medium duty) and 3,000 (heavy duty).

Series CR (semiautomatic) closure-labels are packaged on rolls containing 1,000 closure-labels (medium duty) and 1,100 closure-labels (heavy duty). A carton of medium duty labels contains 14M (14 rolls), a carton of heavy duty labels contains 14.3M (13 rolls).

Series CJ and Series CFJ are packaged on rolls containing 1,500 closure-labels (medium duty) and 1,300 closure-labels (heavy duty). A carton of medium duty labels contains 15M (10 rolls), a carton of heavy duty labels contains 13M (10 rolls).

PRINTING INFORMATION

Labels are custom printed on offset lithographic presses. Label material can be paper (C1S Tagboard) or synthetic (plastic) material. Both stocks are carried in white only and are 10 Pt thick (0.010"/2.5mm)

Supplied artwork must be digital, the following applications are supported: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Freehand and Quark X Press. Files should be sent with all fonts outlined (paths). Linked files must be either eps, tiff or native photoshop files (psd).

Labels can be printed in 4-color process (either side). Spot Colors should reference PMS colors (Pantone Matching System).
